Andreas Krinninger to remain Chairman of the Management Board at Linde Material Handling until 2021
The Supervisory Board of Linde Material Handling GmbH has extended the contracts of the Chairman of the company’s Management Board and the Chief Financial Officer, Andreas Krinninger (49), by four years. Krinninger, in his role as President of the Linde MH EMEA Operating Unit (Europe, Middle East, Africa) – part of the KION Group – will continue to oversee operations until at least the end of 2021.

“Andreas Krinninger is responsible for the successful progression of the Linde brand from solely a manufacturer of industrial trucks to a solutions provider for the entire material flow”, explains Thomas Toepfer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Linde Material Handling GmbH. “Krinninger has done a great job in recent years and continues to run the Operating Unit with great customer focus, passion and a clear strategic orientation.”

Andreas Krinninger is a mechanical engineer who has headed up Linde Material Handling EMEA as President since 1 January 2016. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Operating Unit since 1 January 2014. Krinninger initially came to the KION Group as Chief Restructuring Officer in 2012 and, in this role, previously was responsible for group-wide projects concerning sales growth and improvements to products and efficiency. He was a director at KKR Capstone between 2007 and 2011. Prior to this, he held senior management positions at fittings manufacturer Grohe and airline caterer LSG Sky Chefs. From 1995 to 2001, he was employed at business consultancy McKinsey. He studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in Cambridge, USA. He then spent the first few years of his professional career at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen before going on to gain a Master of Science degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
