Spider veins are mini versions of varicose veins, with the appearance of a spider web, hence the name. They can be found on legs and even face.
Varicose and spider veins develop more often in women than in men. Aesthetic problem aside, varicose and spider veins might cause discomfort that disturb daily activities, such as itching, aching, swelling, throbbing, heaviness, fatigue and night cramps.
